The index and thumb are both reinforced with an amara fabric to protect against abrasions when holding the ski poles. The thumb also features a terry knit nose wipe that is soft on the skin and made to wipe away drips from the cold. A comfortable neoprene cuff is equipped with a blue nylon pull strap for easy entry.
